This ironing bag (also called a mylar bag) is perfect for the safe long-term storage of dry foods.
The extra thickness of this bag helps food last longer and makes it ideal for heavy, bulky or irregularly shaped foods such as rice, pasta, beans, seeds and dehydrated meats and vegetables.
Once the saw blade is filled and fitted with any 2,000 cc oxygen and moisture absorbers , it can be sealed airtight with an iron or flat iron.
For extra protection and long-term shelf life, it is recommended to store the sealed ironing bags in airtight buckets .
