Instructions
Hold the glow stick firmly with both hands and gently bend it about 20 degrees. Do not bend it all the way. Then shake the stick until it spreads an even light.
The breaklight will provide light for between 8 and 12 hours depending on the ambient temperature:
- Heat: At higher temperatures the stick burns brighter, but the burn time is shorter.
- Cold: At lower temperatures the stick burns less brightly, but lasts longer.

Glow sticks are safe when used according to the instructions on the packaging. Problems can occur if a glow stick breaks while being cracked and the liquid gets into the eyes, which can cause serious eye irritation.
Young children may put a glow stick in their mouth and bite it. The liquid may cause mild irritation of the oral mucosa. If the liquid comes into contact with the skin, mouth or eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water.
In addition, the broken glass of the inner tube can cause small wounds in the mouth. Therefore, be careful when using and keep glow sticks out of reach of young children.
